Costa Calida, by which this section of coastline is known, boast the attraction of Europe's largest saltwater lagoon, the Mar Menor, that abound with wildlife particularly at the Northern end of the lagoon which is home of thousands of flamingos during their Autumn migration. Roda Golf & Beach Resort is structurally arranged in concentric rings around the golf course, moving from a public exterior towards an interior that is peaceful and private. In this way, noise, movement and vehicles are kept away from the development itself.
As you can see in the Master Plan, the residential area turns its back on the world of automobiles, to look towards the common pedestrian areas, gardens, swimming pools and golf course. From the exterior ring you will be able to reach your parking space and from there go directly to your home, which looks out onto the golf course that meets your own garden at a visible but subtle boundary.
The inner ring is a pedestrian walkway that goes through all the developments, connecting them and leading the club house, the true heart of Roda Golf & Beach Resort. An area with a natural landscape, relaxed and leisurely, from which you can reach the different recreational zones without the need of walking far.

Course description
This excellent 18-hole, par 72 golf course, designed by Dave Thomas was created by combining different environments and working for a total adaptation to the Mediterranean landscape and vegetation. They have transformed the practically flat ground into an interesting and undulating golf terrain, with strategically placed lakes and carefully designed tree planting integrated in to the design, to challenge all levels of golfers. Watch out for the 7th Hole - 174m Par 3, played over water with the green on a small island!
Dave is rightly proud of his creation and has cleverly shaped the previously flat landscape into an interesting and undulating golfing terrain that is pleasing to the eye and provides an interesting and challenging test of golf. The design incorporates 3 strategically located lakes and a great deal of emphasis has also been placed on integrated tree planting and landscaping.

Had a great 12 days here!. The resort is great, lovely accommodation. The Square is good for meals out, Penny Farthing was our favourite, the kids loved eating there and the puddings were fab! Big Ben is a good choice too. Travelled out to Murcia, Torreveja & Cartagena (all worth a visit). The beech is very clean and tidy and great for the kids.
For shopping Dos Mares is only a few minutes drive up the AP-7 towards Alicante. We went bowling there too, for a bigger shopping mall, Espacio Mediterranean just before Cartagena on the AP-7 is a good choice.

First impressions – fantastic! Weather very hot! Swimming pool great and warm. Complex fantastic, club house worth a visit. Recommend El Diva in the Square to eat. Accommodation fantastic, very well equipped, everything you need. And all round fantastic!! Would definitely like to visit again.
